I believe our student loan debt should be reduced for all of the hours we spend volunteering.  Here is an example.  Let's say I owe $10,000 in student loans.  When I graduate, I cannot find a job for maybe 6 months.  If I spend that 6 months volunteering at a place which needs help but cannot afford to pay for it (e.g. a Food Bank, Senior Center, Youth Center, etc), 6 months of my student loan payments will be forgiven (by the Gov't or Bank, whoever I received the loan from).  This way everyone is helping make this Country better!
